Before dispatch

Cancel freely, until it leaves.

A ready-to-ship order may be cancelled at any time before the parcel leaves the atelier — usually a window of two working days. Write to the concierge with your order number and we will cancel it the same working day, with no charge of any kind.

After dispatch

Once the courier has it.

Once the saree has been handed to the courier, the order can no longer be cancelled. Please refuse or accept the parcel and then write to us — the piece will be handled under the returns note: a return or replacement is accepted only for damage, a wrong piece or a missing item, shown in a continuous, uncut first-opening video, requested within seven days of delivery.

Pre-books & bespoke

Woven against your name.

Pre-booked, made-to-order, and bespoke sarees may be cancelled within twenty-four hours of the reservation. After that the loom has begun and the piece is woven for you alone, so cancellation is no longer possible.

The refund

Back the way it came.

All orders on Skandhika are prepaid; we do not offer cash on delivery. A cancelled order is refunded in full to the original payment method. We initiate the refund within two working days of cancelling, and your bank or card issuer typically credits it within five to seven working days.

By the house

The rare occasion we cancel.

In rare cases — a flaw found at final inspection, a pricing error, or a payment our providers flag — the house may cancel an order. We write to you first, offer an alternative piece where one exists, and refund in full without deduction.
