Skandhika

The house

Terms & Conditions

A short, plain-worded set of terms between you and The House of Skandhika. If any passage feels unclear, write to us — we will explain in ordinary words.

I.

Of the house

The House of Skandhika designs and sells hand-woven sarees and companion pieces. By using this site or purchasing from us, you accept these terms in the spirit in which they are written — considered, fair, and plainly stated. Shlokha, the face of the house, is an AI-generated persona — a fictional representation created by The House of Skandhika. She does not depict any real individual, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or deceased, is purely coincidental and unintentional.

II.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe and for the actions taken under your account. Please write to us the moment you suspect anything has gone amiss.

III.

Orders, pricing and payment

Prices are shown in Indian rupees, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where a struck-through price appears, it is the maximum retail price and the lower figure is what you pay. All orders are prepaid — the house does not offer cash on delivery — and an order is confirmed only once payment is received. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or availability error before dispatch, and to refuse or cancel orders in rare cases of fraud or error.

IV.

Shipping, cancellation, returns

The house presently ships only within India. Shipping timelines, cancellation windows, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping, Cancellation and Returns notes, which form part of these terms. A delivery charge of ₹99 applies per order, waived on orders above ₹3,999, as stated on the Shipping page.

V.

Intellectual property

All imagery, text, motifs and the Skandhika name remain the property of the house. You may not reproduce, redistribute or train models on them without our written consent.

VI.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts of the house's registered city.
